Welcome To Centerboard

We are a nonprofit human services organization located downtown Lynn, MA (you can't miss our colorful mural, pictured above, thanks to Beyond Walls). Our mission is to revitalize our community by investing in its people and places. We support families and young people through housing, access to employment, education and financial empowerment. In addition, Centerboard is invested in Lynn’s creative economy by spearheading public art projects and running the non-profit gallery Visionspace.

A Big Centerboard Thank You to Serur Agencies

Centerboard recently celebrated 30 years of empowering families, young people, and communities with its “Whatever It Takes” Fundraising Gala.
The success of the night was greatly helped by the generous sponsorship of Serur Agencies - American Income Life.
During the Gala, State General Agent Albert Serur of Serur Agencies presented a $10,000 sponsorship check to Gala Chairperson Heather Meitner.
Serur praised Centerboard’s efforts to do “whatever it takes” to help North Shore families make the journey from homelessness to self-sufficiency. He also thanked Centerboard Board member Kemberly Sousa of Serur Agencies for her role in advocating for Centerboard.
“The sponsorship from Serur Agencies and the advocacy by Albert Serur and Kemberly Sousa helped make a great night even better,” said Mark DeJoie, Centerboard’s CEO. “We greatly appreciate their efforts in helping promote Centerboard’s mission in our community.”
